Remember when we released an article on Halo’s roadmap for the years ahead? We discussed where the franchise is headed to, and there is a strong possibility of a full-fledged remake of the first original game: Halo Combat Evolved.

As well all know, Halo Infinite was released almost 2 years ago, and Xbox users are in desperate need of a new Halo game. And guess what, Microsoft might just have the answer. And it’s a crossover between Halo and Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Or at least, this is what the Steam Deck of a user shows. In a Reddit thread, a user has posted a screenshot with a pane showing Master Chief from Halo with the tagline Microsoft Flight Simulator.

While it might probably be a bug or a mistake on Microsoft, we can’t help but wonder what a crossover between the two would look like. Or even a full-fledged game on its own.

Halo joining Microsoft Flight Simulator

Halo has already made its presence in Microsoft Flight Simulator, last year, when the franchise celebrated its 40th anniversary. The popular airplane from Halo, Pelican, became a unit that you could fly to in Microsoft Flight Simulator.halo microsoft flight simulator

Pelican was well received by players, and the machine add-on was available to download for free. Even more, you are capable of flying into space with this unit, true to its utility in Halo.

But other than that, this is the only crossover between the two games so far. However, the addition of the Pelican in Microsoft Flight Simulator, coupled with its popularity, makes us believe more is coming.

Microsoft might add a lot of other flying units from the Halo universe into the Microsoft Flight Simulator universe. While we don’t know anything for sure, there is a strong chance Microsoft will make this happen.

Halo, as a franchise, is still incredibly popular amongst gamers, and a crossover between the two would be the perfect marketing strategy for Microsoft, and Xbox.
