Crunchyroll is down for many, and the cause remains unknown

Over the past week, many users had issues with Crunchyroll according to its Downdetector page. It seems all platforms, including PC, Android, Roku, Fire TV, and more, have been affected according to Times Now News.

However, there’s more trouble for Crunchyroll, and looking at the info from Downdetector, the number of reported outages spiked today with over 439 reports at the time of writing.

The cause of the outage remains unknown, and there hasn’t been any announcement from Crunchyroll regarding this issue.

Users on Reddit reported error 502 and this indicates that there’s a problem with the gateway:
