Good news for all of you Bing Chat AI users. The beloved AI tool is finally available on Chrome and Safari, according to the latest reports. And the best part? It also comes with a Dark mode, so you’ll be able to use it however you like.

There were ways to get Bing Chat on other Internet browsers before, but the methods were unofficial, and a bit more complicated. But now, you can go to bing.com on your Chrome or Safari browser, and click on Chat. Bing will appear and then will integrate itself into your Google searches.

This follows a long period of time when Bing had not been available to any browser than Edge, and it would cause frustration, especially if you loved the tool, but not Edge. But those days are behind now, and you can freely use Bing Chat whenever you want.

However, you should know that there are limitations. Microsoft still wants you to use Bing Chat on Edge, and for now, it is discouraging you to use it on Chrome and Safari. We don’t know if the limitations are temporary or not.

Bing Chat AI limitations on Chrome

It seems that your prompts in Bing Chat AI on Chrome are limited to 2,000 characters (in Edge the limit is 4,000 characters, for example).bing chat ai chrome

Even more, your whole conversation with Bing Chat AI on Chrome is limited to just 5 messages before it resets. In Edge, that limit is 30 messages before the conversation reset.

However, these limitations might be temporary, even if Microsoft hasn’t released an official statement on it just yet. As the tool has just been released on these browsers, maybe the limitations are intentional, but they could be expanded in future patches and updates.

Bing Chat AI is also set to compete with Google’s Bard AI. As you might know, Bard AI is currently available to use on other browsers as well, but unfortunately, the tool is not as popular as Bing Chat.

However, Google’s DeepMind AI is quickly catching up with Microsoft, meaning that Bard AI will also get some important improvements in the future. This means Bing Chat will have to become better, faster, and not limited if it wants to compete with Bard on the world’s most popular Internet browser.

But Bing AI also benefits from the huge AI research Microsoft is currently undergoing. The Redmond-based tech giant is keenly approaching AGI with its AI research. While it won’t happen in the next months, AGI will most likely happen sometime this decade. Specialists say it will solve a lot of humanity’s issues.

And of course, ultimately AI tools such as Bing Chat will greatly benefit from it too.

What do you think about it? Will you use Bing Chat AI on Chrome? Let us know in the comments section below.
