After many rumors regarding the Horizon Forbidden West PC release, we’re happy to say that the game’s hardware requirements have been revealed!

The game is coming on March 21st, but can you run this game once it launches? Keep on reading to find out!

Horizon Forbidden West PC requirements have been revealed by Sony

Many have speculated what kind of hardware would be necessary to run Horizon Forbidden West and the latest Sony blog post answers this question.

The game requires Windows 10 1909 or higher and 150GB of SSD storage to install. RAM requirement is the same for all presets and it’s set at 16GB.

You’ll be able to get around 30 FPS at 720p with Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB or AMD Radeon RX 5500XT 4GB.

To experience the game at 1080p and 60pfs, you’ll need an Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700.

If you’re looking for 4K resolution at 60FP you’ll need Intel Core i7-11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900XT.

That’s rough, but not ridiculous. Also, it’s a PS5 game, no one was expecting it to run well on SD.
