We know that many of you actually like to read documents and PDFs on your Kindle devices rather than a PC or a phone.

Don’t get us wrong, we’re not saying that as if it is a bad thing, as you are about to discover for yourself in only a few seconds.

On that note, just know that Microsoft has some good news for you since it is now working on a new feature that will enable you to share your Word documents wirelessly from within Word.

Send your favorite Word documents to your Kindle

If you ever used a Kindle device, you know that the Send-to-Kindle was not something you could use in tandem with Microsoft’s Word app.

However, Redmond officials stated that this feature will be available to Word users on Mac, Desktop, and the Web from next month.

The tech giant has not explained how it will help users export documents to Kindle devices, but it will most likely be very similar to how you send documents to others via email.

Send-to-Kindle is a well-known Amazon service that helps you send documents and other supported file types via the send to kindle email address.

Now, what Microsoft is apparently trying to do is bring the Send-to-Kindle feature as a document-sharing option in the Word app.

For the time being, to export a supported file type to your Kindle devices, you need to open your email, add them as attachments, and then send them to the Send to Kindle email address.

But wait, there’s even more good news. Apart from Microsoft Word, the Send-to-Kindle sharing option will also be available on the Microsoft 365 app.

This new way of exporting documents to Kindle will be available as a preview to Microsoft 365 Insiders next month, so make sure you look out for that.

Furthermore, according to the Microsoft 365 roadmap page, testing the feature with Insiders will not take much time, as the new sharing capability will hit general availability in March.
